Good Monday morning and Happy Columbus day to you! Hope you had a splendid weekend. Ours was quiet and low key, and frankly it was a nice break after a very long and arduous weekend.
Ahhh..that front door. The very first thing that gives you your first impression of someones home. What does the front door say about you? If its a funky color, does that mean that you have  wild side or  throw caution to the wind and know how to let loose, does black mean you tend to be serious and formal, a rustic wooden door make you casual and easy going? 

I wonder just how  much we can read into ones front door and how they choose to or not to adorn it. So today....we are looking at 18 gorgeous front doors, each definitely with their own "personality". If you had to choose one of these front doors, which most reflects your style and personality? I cannot wait to hear! So here we go.......

I read about a woman who paints her door every season,for winter its bright green, for spring a pale pink for summer a turquoise blue and for fall a burnt orange! Random weekend musings.....

Hello there, I am soooooo happy its the  weekend. I seriously need some major downtime to do absolutely nothing. Except for dinner plans tonight, a casual BBQ tomorrow and one game, we have little on the agenda and that is music to my ears. Last week was an exceptionally crazy week, that kind of week where every single minute is accounted for, I barely had quality time with my beloved computer and blogland and I missed it so much, it's my "happy place". So finally a chance to sit down for a bit and catch up on all I have missed and share my weekly musings with you. Here we go...... HOUSE. Notice I changed the pictures in my header? I figured why not change it up to reflect summers light, airy vibe with a blue and white touch. Hope you enjoyed a relaxing and happy, safe Memorial day weekend.Hard to believe summer is officially here, we ended up having a lot of fun, it was more action packed than I originally was hoping for but once in the throes of all the activity, gotta admit we had a darn good time! 30 MORE reasons why blue and white ginger jars rock!

Good morning .....finally a beautiful less humid day over here!! How was your weekend? Finally the horribly humid weather broke yesterday and we had a spectacular day. Started it off by going on a walk with a few friends, then hit a local farm for some fresh fruit and veges, I got basil the size of a small tree! Ended it with seeing the Bourne Legacy,which we thought was excellent. Jason Renner was fantastic (and this is by no means a genre I normally enjoy) but it really kept you on the edge of your seat! Sister coming in today with family on way back from Maine so I will be busy entertaining today. I have a very busy week ahead....how about you? Whats new in your world?
