Sunday around here.....


Hi everyone. Today is a short post, just wanted to pop in and say hi. My little get together last night was wonderful and turned out beautifully with a little help from mother nature! I could not have custom ordered more picture perfect weather, seriously it was incredible! I had a photographer here and will share some of those pictures when I get them but here's a little sneak peek of what I took with my iPhone.....
 

 Just put these here, LOVE these Provence planters and LOVE the color, ideally they would be a big bigger but I love them so am determined to keep them somewhere. The orbs were just stuck in there but once planted they will be raised and might make it look more size appropriate.....

 And after the last person had gone..I ran outside at dusk to take a few quick photos..the lighting was beautiful (sorry for the grainy quality...blame it on Apple, lol)  I think everything looks more beautiful at dusk..don't you?

Random weekend musings.....

Hello there, I am soooooo happy its the  weekend. I seriously need some major downtime to do absolutely nothing. Except for dinner plans tonight, a casual BBQ tomorrow and one game, we have little on the agenda and that is music to my ears. Last week was an exceptionally crazy week, that kind of week where every single minute is accounted for, I barely had quality time with my beloved computer and blogland and I missed it so much, it's my "happy place". So finally a chance to sit down for a bit and catch up on all I have missed and share my weekly musings with you. Here we go...... HOUSE. One exciting thing is that I am getting closer to pulling the trigger on my chinoiserie paper for the dining room. Woo hoo! Good morning .....finally a beautiful less humid day over here!! How was your weekend? Finally the horribly humid weather broke yesterday and we had a spectacular day. Started it off by going on a walk with a few friends, then hit a local farm for some fresh fruit and veges, I got basil the size of a small tree! Ended it with seeing the Bourne Legacy,which we thought was excellent. Jason Renner was fantastic (and this is by no means a genre I normally enjoy) but it really kept you on the edge of your seat! Sister coming in today with family on way back from Maine so I will be busy entertaining today. I have a very busy week ahead....how about you? Whats new in your world?
